Rabin Strategic Partners (RSP) is a New York-based consulting firm specializing in public health.
We offer integrated campaign-style public affairs and communications programs on health issues for a wide range of corporate, non-profit and public sector clients.
We are currently looking to hire a Junior Associate to support the firm on a number of exciting and expanding projects in the field of public health. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills with the ability to monitor and summarize policy, scientific developments and stakeholder activities in the field of global health. There is a heavy emphasis on following infection disease issues, especially in developing countries. This candidate must be able to start immediately and jump in to provide support wherever it is needed.
This is an entry-level position. The initial work will not be glamorous, but we are committed to helping the ideal candidate develop and to enhance their abilities. The Junior Associate will be responsible for:
- Providing general administrative support to senior staff including scheduling meetings,
creating agendas, & recording meeting minutes
- Conducting online research on public health issues & related media coverage
- Preparing research memos, white papers & client publications/communications
- Preparing & editing materials for meetings & presentations
Additional Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent research skills with the ability to organize & synthesize information effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously & establish work priorities
- Ability to take direction as well as work & think independently
- Ability to interact professionally with executive-level contacts
- Experience & comfort working in a flexible, collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Degree, interest, or experience in global/public health
- Strong computer skills (Windows environment: Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience working in HTML preferred
